The Wood Barn.
A necessary addition to the main house, The Wood Barn was constructed in 1870
to shelter the estate’s horses and as a hay loft. The Sisson family, the original owner of the Stone House,
would take the day long journey in carriages from Providence to their cottage at the sea.
The array of precious birds in Little Compton and the water views from The Wood Barn’s perch inspired the three suites’ names.
The 1854 Collection of custom made quilts designed by Denyse Schmidt grace the beds in every suite.
All three suites in The Wood Barn are available as Estate Memberships.
